Greensboro Acquires Terry Henderson

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the team acquired Terry Henderson via returning player rights. In a corresponding transaction, the team waived Max Montana.

Henderson, 25, was a member of the Swarm for the 2017-18 season. In 42 games that season (22 starts), he averaged 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.5 minutes per game. Undrafted out of North Carolina State University, Henderson spent the 2017 preseason with the Charlotte Hornets and appeared in two games.

Most recently, the Raleigh, North Carolina, native played for Scagliera Verona in Italy during the 2018-19 season. He appeared and started in 19 games with averages of 12.4 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 27.8 minutes per game.

Henderson (6-5, 195) will wear No. 3 for Greensboro.
