Greensboro Swarm Announce 2016 Training Camp Roster

Roster Of 15 Includes Hornets Affiliate Players

October 31, 2016 – The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA Development League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today the team’s 2016 training camp roster. The roster, which stands at 15, includes Hornets affiliate players, local tryout standouts, players returning to the D-League whose rights the Swarm acquired in the expansion draft and the five selections the team made in yesterday’s D-League draft.
Included in the 15-man roster are three affiliate players of the Hornets. Perry Ellis (6-8, 225, Kansas) appeared in one preseason game and totaled four minutes of playing time. Rasheed Sulaimon (6-4, 190, Maryland) played in four preseason contests averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 assists in 8.6 minutes per game. Mike Tobey (7-0, 260, Virginia) appeared in two games for the Hornets during the preseason and averaged 6.0 points and 3.5 rebounds in 18.8 minutes per game. Tobey also appeared in five games for the Hornets in the 2016 Orlando Pro Summer League averaging 10.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in 20.8 minutes per game.
The Swarm will hold media day and begin training camp tomorrow, Nov. 1 in Greensboro. The team’s full training camp roster is listed below:
