Hornets Recall Bacon From Greensboro

Charlotte Hornets General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has recalled forward Dwayne Bacon from the Greensboro Swarm, the team’s NBA G League affiliate.

This concludes Bacon’s 12th assignment to the Swarm this season. In 15 appearances with Greensboro, he is averaging 20.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 32.1 minutes per game. In Bacon’s most recent appearance with Greensboro on Feb. 28 against Westchester, he totaled 23 points and ten rebounds in 37 minutes of play. In 25 appearances with the Hornets, Bacon has averaged 4.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10.6 minutes per game.

Bacon will join the Hornets in Brooklyn prior to the team’s game tonight against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday, Mar. 1, 2019 at 7:30pm ET at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
