About Greensboro Swarm

The Greensboro Swarm are the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets and serve as a key part of the Hornets' player development system. Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, the Swarm provide a pathway for players, coaches, and basketball operations staff to develop their skills and advance to the NBA.

Since beginning play in 2016, the Swarm have become an important part of the Greensboro community, delivering exciting professional basketball while helping prepare the next generation of NBA talent. Many current Charlotte Hornets players have spent time with the Swarm, using the NBA G League as a stepping stone to the highest level of the game.

The NBA G League is the official minor league of the NBA, designed to develop players, coaches, officials, trainers, and front office personnel. With teams located across the United States and Mexico, the league serves as the NBA's primary pipeline for talent and innovation.

The Swarm play their home games at Novant Health Fieldhouse and are committed to providing an affordable, family-friendly entertainment experience while representing Greensboro with pride on and off the court.
