BLUE RIDGE COMPANIES TO PRESENT MILITARY NIGHT
The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the team’s jersey for the home game against the College Park Skyhawks (Atlanta Hawks Affiliate) on Friday, November 11, will honor active military and veterans. Military Night, hosted on Veteran’s Day, presented by Blue Ridge Companies.
“We are excited that Blue Ridge Companies is partnering with us on our first-ever military theme jersey night this Friday. This is yet another opportunity for our organizations to recognize and to raise a sizable amount of money from the game worn jerseys to benefit our military community, especially on Veterans Day,” said Swarm Team President Steve Swetoha.
This night will feature the first of five themed jerseys of the season, with plans to auction the Military Night jersey to benefit a non-profit organization. The jersey will be benefiting the Garret Torney Foundation which strives to help veterans battling PTSD. The organization raises funds and partners with like minded charities to ensure that those who served their country can have experiences that bring their passion and purpose together.

Thank you,” said Blue Ridge Companies Executive Vice President Susan Passmore. Fans will be able to bid on the game worn jerseys throughout the night. In addition, the fans who are awarded these jerseys will have the opportunity to get them autographed by players and a photo following the game.
