Martin Luther King Day is considered a National Day of Service, encouraging people to “make it a day on, not a day off”! For years, The Volunteer Center has hosted a signature event designed to bring people from all over Guilford County together to complete service projects benefiting local nonprofit organizations and to learn about the many ways to serve throughout the year.

Join us January 18 at 1:00 p.m. ET for a virtual event featuring service projects, a nonprofit fair, children's activities, performances and more. You will get to hear from some exceptional local nonprofits, see footage from service projects and view our Photo Booth. We have some local celebrities lined up for Story Time, a chance for you to get FREE children's books for kids and more!

While 2021 looks very different, we want to highlight the need for service more than ever before!
