Swarm Unveil 2018-19 Schedule And New 6-Game Plan

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League Affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today announced its 2018-19 schedule and a new ticketing 6-Game Plan. The 50-game schedule is made up of 24 home and 24 road games, as well as two games at the annual NBA G League Showcase. After opening the season on the road, the Swarm’s home opener at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is against the Grand Rapids Drive on Saturday, November 10, at 7 p.m. ET.

“We are unbelievably excited to announce our schedule for the upcoming season and tip off the Swarm’s third season in the NBA G League in front of our home crowd here in Greensboro,” Swarm President Steve Swetoha said. “We continue to receive overwhelming fan support in the Triad. We are looking forward to a great season on and off the court, while making sure the Fieldhouse is a great experience for all. This will be an exciting season and we cannot wait to share our promotional and theme nights in the coming weeks.”

Including the opener, the Swarm have 14 home dates on either a Friday or Saturday. Additionally, Greensboro will host its first annual School Day Game (Wednesday, December 12) and an afternoon matinee on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 21).

The defending G League Champions, the Austin Spurs, make their only visit to the Fieldhouse on Wednesday, November 21. The expansion Capital City Go-Go (affiliate of the Washington Wizards) make their first visit to Gate City on Thursday, January 10.

Greensboro is a member of the NBA G League’s Eastern Conference in the Southeast Division, joining the defending division champion Erie BayHawks (Atlanta Hawks), Lakeland Magic (Orlando Magic) and Go-Go. Former division rival Delaware Blue Coats (Philadelphia 76ers), formerly the 87ers, are now members of the Atlantic Division.

Fans can now guarantee seats at the Fieldhouse through Season Ticket Memberships, Group Packages or the new 6-Game Plan. The price per ticket under the new 6-Game Plan is $84 and features two options which include marquee weekend games. More information on the 6-Game Plan can be found here.

Season Ticket Memberships include all 24 regular-season home games and offer the lowest pricing, interest-free payment options, a ticket exchange program and much more. Group Packages start at 10 people and as low as $9 per seat. Swarm single-game tickets will go on sale at a later date.
