GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Terrell Brown Jr. made NBA G League history on Friday night, becoming the first player to record triple-doubles off the bench in back-to-back games, as the Greensboro Swarm rolled past the Grand Rapids Gold, 125–100, on the road.

Brown Jr. followed up his historic performance against the Texas Legends on Dec. 31 – when he posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists – with another standout effort off the bench, guiding the Swarm with poise and precision as they improved to 5–1 on the season.

The Swarm set the tone early and never relinquished control, using balanced scoring, crisp ball movement, and a dominant presence on the glass to pull away. Greensboro shot 46.5 percent from the field, assisted on 25 baskets, and outrebounded the Gold 59-41, including 12 offensive rebounds that fueled second-chance opportunities throughout the night.

Keyontae Johnson led all scorers with 28 points on 10-of-20 shooting, adding seven rebounds in a complete two-way performance. Jaylen Sims delivered a strong all-around outing with 25 points, connecting on four three-pointers and converting 6-of-7 attempts from the free-throw line. Eric Dixon added 15 points, while Jonas Aidoo provided efficient production off the bench with 14 points on 7-of-8 shooting.

Greensboro’s depth once again proved decisive, as the Swarm bench outscored Grand Rapids 59-44. Brown Jr. finished the night with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists, the second-most in franchise history, controlling the tempo and orchestrating the offense throughout. Josiah Allick chipped in a double-double of his own with 12 points and 10 rebounds, giving the Swarm consistent interior presence.

The Gold were led by Moses Brown, who recorded 30 points and 12 rebounds, while Javante McCoy added 18 points. Despite Grand Rapids’ efforts inside, Greensboro’s defensive pressure forced seven turnovers and limited the Gold to just 4-of-33 shooting from three-point range.

The Swarm will look to carry their momentum forward as they continue their road stretch against the Gold on Monday, building on a historic night and a strong start to the season.
