Greensboro Swarm Announce 2026-27 Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. (Aug. 28, 2026) – The Greensboro Swarm, the reigning NBA G League Champions and NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today announced its 2026-27 season schedule, which opens with a championship banner ceremony during the team’s home opener on Friday, November 6 at 7 p.m. ET against the Long Island Nets.

Greensboro opens its 2026-27 season with a two-game Championship Weekend on Nov. 6 and 7 against the Nets and concludes its home schedule on Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. against the Grand Rapids Gold.

During the 2026-27 season, the Swarm will host 19 home weekend games, including eight Friday, eight Saturday and three Sunday contests. Greensboro will also host five homestands of at least three games, including a five-game homestand from Feb. 26 to March 6. The Swarm’s longest road trip of the season will span five games to close its regular season from March 15 to March 27.

The Swarm will host a pair of Education Day games this season: the first on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. against the Capital City Go-Go, and the second on Wednesday, March 3 at 11 a.m. against the Motor City Cruise. The schedule also features a collection of holiday-season matchups, beginning with a post-Thanksgiving set against the College Park Skyhawks on Nov. 27 and 28, at 7 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively, followed by holiday games on Dec. 27, 28 and 30. The Dec. 27 matchup against the Laketown Squadron will tip off at 6 p.m., while the Dec. 28 and 30 games against the Windy City Bulls will tip off at 7 p.m.

The team’s 24-game home slate will feature a collection of promotions, which will be announced at a later date.

The Swarm’s month-by-month breakdown includes nine games in November (five home, four road), eight games in December (five home, three road), 12 games in January (five home, seven road), nine games in February (five home, four road) and 10 games in March (four home, six road). The Swarm will also play two games between Dec. 19-22, with dates and opponents to be determined, and could play a third game if it advances to the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase Championship.

Greensboro will participate in 12 back-to-back sets during the 2026-27 season, consisting of eight home/home and four road/road back-to-backs.

The NBA G League schedule will feature a 14-game Tip-Off Tournament followed by a 36-game regular season. The Tip-Off Tournament begins on Nov. 6 and concludes during the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase in December. Following the Tip-Off Tournament, team records reset before the start of the 36-game regular season. At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the NBA G League Playoffs, which culminate with the NBA G League Finals in April 2027.
