Greensboro Swarm Announce Training Camp Roster and Coaching Staff for 2023-24 Season

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today the training camp roster and new coaching staff for the 2023-24 NBA G League season. Head Coach Jordan Surenkamp opens training camp on Monday, October 30, at the Novant Health Fieldhouse. 

  

Swarm two-way players entering the season are Amari Bailey, Leaky Black, and Theó Maledon. Bailey was selected by the Hornets in the second round (No. 41 overall) of the 2023 NBA Draft out of University of California, Los Angeles, Black went undrafted out of the University of North Carolina, and Maledon returns as a two-way player for the second season.

Jonathan Yim, assistant coach, will join head coach Jordan Surenkamp, Donyell Marshall, and Ben Resner to complete the coaching staff. 

Yim enters his first year at the Swarm after serving as an assistant coach for the South Bay Lakers. Prior to that he served as a Player Development Coach and Video Coordinator for the Portland Trail Blazers.  

  

The remaining hires in basketball operations will be announced at a later date.
