Greensboro Swarm to Host School Day Game

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, today announced that Novant Health will present the School Day Game for Guilford County School students, and the health and wellness program. The School Day Game for GCS elementary school students is set for Tuesday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m. against Raptors 905 (Toronto Raptors Affiliate).

"We are excited to partner with Novant Health to pack the Novant Health Fieldhouse with GCS students for our educational health and wellness game," Swarm President Steve Swetoha said. "We have the opportunity to educate local youth on the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle through basketball. We are fortunate to have a partner like Novant Health in supporting this important community initiative with us this season.

Kirsten Royster, President and Chief Operating Officer at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center added, "Novant Health is dedicated to the improvement of health, one person at a time. The School Day Game was last played during the 2019-20 season. This season’s School Day game at the Novant Health Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is sold out.
