The Utah Jazz signed Greensboro Swarm forward Xavier Sneed to a two-way contract, the organization announced today. The signing marks the third NBA Call-Up for a Swarm player during the 2021-22 NBA G League season.

Sneed (6-5, 215) appeared in 18 games (17 starts) for the Swarm, including the Showcase Cup portion of the season. He carried averages of 11.4 points on 50 percent shooting, 4.4 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.7 steals in 27.2 minutes per game.

Earlier this season, Sneed's first NBA Call-Up came with the Memphis Grizzlies on December 27, 2021, via a 10-day contract under the league's Hardship Exception. He appeared in two games for the Grizzlies.

The former Kansas State star was on the Greensboro roster at the 2021 NBA G League Single-Site after going undrafted in 2020. The St. Louis, Missouri, native was also with the Charlotte Hornets for the preseason and 2021 NBA Summer League.

Sneed is the fifth player in team history to receive an NBA Call-Up, the first to be signed to a two-way deal.
