Swarm Add Ashton Hagans to Roster

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the team has added Ashton Hagans to the roster. Hagans was originally added to the roster as an injury hardship exception due to multiple Swarm injuries.

In six games and three starts for Greensboro, Hagans averaged 16.8 points and nine assists. In his debut with the team against the Westchester Knicks (New York Knicks affiliate), the guard recorded the G League’s third 20-plus assist triple double as he tallied 15 points, 10 rebounds and 22 assists. His 22 assists that night also tied for the second most assists in league history and set a new single game high for the Swarm.

The Swarm also announced that Aaron Wheeler was waived from the team. Wheeler joined Greensboro as the third overall pick in the 2022 G League Draft. The Connecticut native played 19.4 minutes over 10 games for the team.
