Swarm Announce Opening Night Roster And Basketball Operations Additions

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today the Opening Night roster for the 2021-22 season. The organization tips its 5th Anniversary season, presented by Blue Ridge Companies, on Friday, November 5, at 7:00 p.m. ET at the Fieldhouse at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex against the Birmingham Squadron (New Orleans Pelicans affiliate).
Greensboro currently has two assignment players from the Hornets, Vernon Carey Jr. and JT Thor, as a part of the 14-man roster.
Two-way players entering the season are Arnoldas Kulboka and Scottie Lewis. Kulboka was selected by the Hornets in the second round (No. 55 overall) in the 2018 NBA Draft while Lewis was taken in the second round (No. 56) in 2021.
D.J. Carton, Jalen Crutcher and Cameron McGriff are the three affiliate players represented. Xavier Sneed is the lone returner from the Swarm's 2021 NBA G League Single-Site roster. Four Greensboro 2021-22 NBA G League Draft picks are also included - LiAngelo Ball, Chudier Bile, Ikenna Ndugba and Tyree White.
Additionally, two tryout players (Danny Pippen, Mitchell Wilbekin) are featured.

Additionally, Cam Twiss returns to his post at the General Manager. The other additions to the basketball operations staffing, includes Taja Edwards as the Manager of Basketball Operations and Player Development, Stan Delva as the Head Athletic Trainer, Adam Hoffman as the Strength and Conditioning Coach, Kris Quintana as the Video Coordinator and Player Development Coach and Max Clevens as the Basketball Operations Coordinator. Drew Seifert and Cole Teal join the Swarm as Basketball Operations Assistants.
