WILMINGTON, DE – Behind standout performances from Tidjane Salaün and Keyontae Johnson, the Greensboro Swarm (3-0) remained undefeated with a 133-126 victory over the Delaware Blue Coats (1-1) on Thursday night at Chase Fieldhouse.

Greensboro delivered its sixth-highest scoring win in franchise history, overcoming multiple first-half swings. Trailing 57-47 with five minutes in the second quarter, the Swarm responded with an 8-2 run sparked by six points from Salaün, trimming the deficit before halftime and setting the stage for a strong second half.

Salaün led the way, on assignment from the Hornets, with 26 points (9-of-13 FG), nine rebounds and six assists. Johnson continued his early-season surge off the bench, matching Salaün’s 26 points (8-of-16 FG) in 34 minutes. The forward poured in 10 first-quarter points, knocked down a running push shot to beat the halftime buzzer and is now averaging 21.7 points per game through three contests – all in a reserve role.

Greensboro’s bench dominated the night with a decisive 68-32 scoring advantage.

Johnson headlined the group, but the Swarm received major boosts from Josiah Allick, who notched a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double and Terrell Brown Jr., who finished just shy of a triple-double with 13 points, seven rebounds and nine assists. Rookie big man Eric Dixon impressed in his professional debut, scoring 16 points (6-of-8 FG) in 15 minutes. The Villanova all-time scoring leader drew strong local support as the Willow Grove, Pennsylvania native showcased his touch around the rim.

Making his Swarm debut, two-way forward Drew Peterson came one rebound shy of a triple double, ending with 16 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

Sophomore Jared McCain made his NBA G League debut for Delaware, finishing with 10 points and three assists in 20 minutes of action. Kennedy Chandler and Marjon Beauchamp paced the Blue Coats’ offense, with Chandler producing a 27-point, 12-assist double-double and Beauchamp adding 25 points behind five made threes.

The Swarm will look to extend their perfect start on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET as they complete their two-game series with Delaware.
