GREENSBORO, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2025) – The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, held off a late Maine Celtics rally to secure a 122-120 victory on Saturday night at the Novant Health Fieldhouse, completing a two-game series sweep.

After seeing their 12-point fourth quarter lead erased by a late Celtics surge, the Swarm responded in the final seconds as Hornets assignment Tidjane Salaün buried a clutch corner three-pointer with 8.7 seconds remaining to lift Greensboro to the win.

Antonio Reeves and Jaylen Sims led a balanced Swarm attack with 22 points apiece, while Keyontae Johnson added 21 points and Salaün finished with 19, including the game-winner. Reeves and Salaün combined to hit 11 of Greensboro’s 19 made three-pointers as the team shot an impressive 50% (19-38) from beyond the arc and 50.6% (43-85) from the field overall.

The Swarm trailed 120-117 with under a minute remaining after a 15-0 Celtics run fueled by Ron Harper Jr., but Isaih Moore threw down a key dunk to bring Greensboro within one before Salaün’s dagger three secured the victory.

Harper Jr. paced Maine with 29 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Amari Williams posted a double-double with 25 points (10-11 FG) and 10 rebounds.

Greensboro’s sharpshooting and resilience proved decisive down the stretch. Reeves caught fire in the fourth quarter, drilling six three-pointers overall to help the Swarm build their double-digit advantage before the Celtics mounted their comeback attempt.

With the win, Greensboro (2-0) completes the two-game sweep over Maine (0-2), with both contests decided by just two points.
