UNIONDALE, NY (Nov. 22, 2025) – The Greensboro Swarm (4-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, were unable to slow down a hot-shooting Long Island Nets team on Saturday night, falling 128-113 at Nassau Coliseum.

Greensboro was led by forward Keyontae Johnson, who posted a team-high 27 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals in 35 minutes, Tidjane Salaün, who added 23 points, six rebounds and an assist in 34 minutes and Jaylen Sims, who logged 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting.

The trio helped pace a Swarm offense that battled back multiple times throughout the night but ultimately couldn’t overcome Long Island’s perimeter shooting and ball movement, with the Nets converting on 22 triples to the Swarm’s 10.

The Swarm matched Long Island’s early pace but trailed 34-26 after the opening quarter, as the Nets capitalized on second-chance opportunities and an early rebounding edge. The Swarm worked to close the gap in the second frame, yet the Nets closed the half on a run that pushed the deficit to 67-51 at the break.

Nolan Traore led the spurt for Long Island, closing the night with 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting, including 6-of-9 from deep, while adding nine assists and five rebounds in 32 minutes. Danny Wolf continued his strong interior play with 20 points, six boards, five assists, and a team-high three blocks.

Long Island opened the third with an 8-0 spurt, but the Swarm responded with one of their strongest stretches of the night, trimming the margin back to 15 heading into the fourth quarter. Greensboro continued to apply pressure in the final frame, but a 13-3 Long Island run midway through the quarter halted the Swarm’s momentum.

Despite the result, Greensboro’s frontcourt combination of PJ Hall and Ibou Badji were a bright spot, with the tandem helping provide an edge in paint play and second-chance points. Hall, who joined the team via trade Thursday, earned his first start with 12 points, eight rebounds (four offensive) and four blocks, while Badji generated five blocks in 14 minutes.

The Swarm completes its road set against the Nets on Monday at 6 p.m. ET.
