UNIONDALE, NY – The Greensboro Swarm (5-3), the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, secured a 126–114 win over the Long Island Nets (2-4) on Monday night at Nassau Coliseum.

Greensboro forward Tidjane Salaün delivered an impressive all-around performance, leading the Swarm with 25 points, six rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 33 minutes. After slipping in its baseball-set opener, the Swarm added all three of its two-way players on transfer, with KJ Simpson leading the way with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in 31 minutes. Two-way players Antonio Reeves and Drew Peterson also provided sparks off the bench, finishing with Reeves logging 13 points and five rebounds and Peterson adding 10 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

The Swarm opened the game with high-paced offense, taking a 37–34 lead after the first quarter. Greensboro continued to apply defensive pressure, forcing Long Island into key first-half turnovers and entering halftime ahead, 69–67.

Despite a push from the Nets in the third – where Long Island committed only one turnover – Greensboro maintained control, heading into the final frame with a 98–92 advantage. The Nets mounted a 10-0 run early in the fourth, but the Swarm responded with timely scoring and defensive stops to seal the road victory.

Peterson led the way with four steals for the Swarm, while Ibou Badji logged the team’s lone block of the night. Badji, who entered play averaging 4.5 blocks per contest, found the midrange game early – etching double figures by halftime and closing his 17 minutes of run with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Long Island was paced by guard Yuri Collins, who scored 24 points and surpassed 1,000 career NBA G League points. Brooklyn Nets assignee Danny Wolf added 19 points and a franchise rookie record–tying 17 rebounds, while Nate Williams chipped in 22 points.

Greensboro returns home on Friday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. ET as it takes on the Capital City Go-Go. The team will celebrate Kid’s Free Night, with each child (14 and under) receiving free entry for each paid adult ticket.
