THE HOLIDAY INN GREENSBORO AIRPORT TO PRESENT THE 2022 GREENSBORO SWARM OPEN TRYOUTS

The Greensboro Swarm, the NBA G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets, announced today that the 2022 Open Tryouts will be presented by the Holiday Inn Greensboro Airport. The tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, September 17, at the UNC Greensboro Kaplan Center for Wellness.
“We are excited to partner with the Holiday Inn Greensboro Airport for one of our most anticipated events we host each year prior to the start of our season,” Greensboro Swarm President Steve Swetoha said. “Having not been able to host this event the past few seasons, it will be great to be back with our friends at UNC Greensboro at the Kaplan Center to host the event and evaluate all the local talent on their campus once again.”

Registration for the 2022 Open Tryouts is now open. All information and documents are available on gsoswarm.com. Included in this information is our health and safety requirements, requiring proof of up-to-date full vaccination status or a proof of a negative COVID test within 24 hours of tryouts.
The Holiday Inn Greensboro Airport will offer a special rate of $109 per night for Open Tryout participants.
NBA G League local tryouts offer players the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the Swarm coaching staff and Hornets basketball operations personnel. Prospects have the opportunity to earn an NBA G League contract and a possible invitation to the Swarm’s training camp in October.
